A discrete water level model for water management in the 4D GIS concept of the Kopački rit wetland
A discrete model of water level in the Kopački rit wetland was proposed using mesurement data from six points on Danube and Drava river. By using a cyclic conversion of quantitative into qualitative data the nonlinear model was synthetized that shows a very good accuracy with the measured level of the water at the outer side of the Lake Sakadaš orifice. The dominance of Danube river on wetland condition in spring flooding period is proven. The basis for further water level modeling in GIS is thus established.
