Intake of some vitamins by dietetic products

Vitamins are essential nutrients, and their sources are very interesting in any nutritional investigation, especially when the sources are dietetic products based on cereals and dryad fruit. The vitamins' shares in one dietetic product based on cereals and three different dietetic products based on cereals and dryad fruit, were determined by HPLC method. The results of analysis show the complete absence of vitamin A in all analysed products. Contain of vitamin B1 ranges from 0.006-0.277 mg/ 100g, vitamin B2 from 0.004 - 0.400 mg/ 100g, vitamin E from 0.860 - 4.330 mg/ 100g and niacin from 1.440 - 1.570 mg/ 100g. These values show that 100 g of each dietetic product can cover from 0.4 - 20% for vitamin B1, 0.3 - 25% for vitamin B2, 9 - 43% for vitamin E and 8 - 9% for niacin recommended dietary allowances of male adult.
