Modern biotechnologists or genetic engineers are becoming new associates to the researchers in agriculture. They see new ways of possible solutions of current problems in production of food by application of biotechnological methods. A significant part of basic researches, both in classic and modern biotechnology, has most frequently been the result of research carried out by individual scientist, so that we can talk of achievements of individuals who were researching certain problems as enthusiasts, and whose results and solutions would lead to the expertise we today call high technology
