Improvement of bridge structures project

The intensive construction of new highways in Croatia emphasized the need to standardise short and medium span bridges. Extensive analyses for the typical bridges for new Croatian Highways project have been done. The transition to the Eurocode based design is mandatory from June 2006 and the need arises for the project transition to the new Eurocodes. The improvement of bridge structures project will be presented in the article.
