90 Years of Krešimir Šavor - A Lifetime of Bridgebuilding

Advances in civil engineering normally proceed slowly. But from time to time an individual emerges who with his new and innovative solutions creates a great step forward. Krešimir Šavor was certainly one of those individuals. With his original ideas and designs he significantly contributed to bridge engineering in Croatia. During his career he designed many bridges that are still admired and studied. Now, following his 90th year life anniversary, an overview of his work is presented.
