The Influence of Santa Lucia Cherry 64 Rootstock on the Growth and Yield of Cherry in The Agroecological Environment of Middle Dalmatia
cherry is with Winw and olive one of the main culture grown in the agroecological environment of Middle Dalmatia, and cherry cultivation has a long tradition in this area. The aim of this research was to determine the vegetative growth and yield of Van, New Star and Sunburst cherry cultivars on Saint Lucia cherry 64 rootstock, compared to the standard Prunus mahaleb rootstock. results showed the greatest vegetative growth with the Van cultivar, and the wekest with the Sunburst. All cultivars observed in the research had a significant decrease in vegetative growth and greater yield compared to cherry cultivars grown on Prunus mahaleb.
