Textile industry, more accurately processes of textile dyeing and finishing, marked as largest consumers of fresh water produce analogically great amounts of wastewaters burdened by heterogeneous pollutants such as lanolin, starch, phosphates, salts, dyes etc. In addition, legislation regarding outlet wastewaters is becoming more severe and restrictive, demanding purifying processes to become more efficient, but also more expensive every day, making room for non-conventional purifying methods such as Wetland. A known fact is how Wetlands are constructed primarily considering geological conditions of surrounding soil, however lifespan and efficiency of these Wetlands will greatly depend on preceding processes carried out on inlet waste waters, pretreatment processes that is, which are to assure Wetlands to get less burdened.
