CONFIRMATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS OF VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS’ PRECISION MEASUREMENT
The research was carried out on a selectioned sample of 52 students of the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb, aged 20 - 25, who had already passed the volleyball exam and achieved at least a very good grade in the practical part of the exam. For the factor analysis, the confirmatory factor analysis Kuchiki Daosho was applied (Štalec and Momirović, 1982). This analysis was performed on 14 measuring instruments for assessing the situational motor precision of a volleyball player. The hypothesis of the existence of three latent dimensions was confirmed with minor deviations. A specific agreement has been achieved with the given hypothesis about the existence of three hypothetical factors in the areas of situational motor precision of a volleyball player, with the comment that more than three tests need to be developed that would define the second factor - situational volleyball jump precision.
