Application of parabolic H-measures to the vibrating plate equation

The theory of a new variant of H-measures, called the parabolic H-measures, has been recently developed, aimed at the study of non-hyperbolic problems. Here we present its application to the vibrating plate equation, based on the localisati on and propagation property of the new variant. Relation between the microlocal energy density and initial data, as well as directions of propagation and the equipartion of energy will be discussed.
