A Program System for the Simulation of a Single Instruction Computer
The CMOVE architecture, proposed in 1978. by G. J. Lipovski, was accepted as a model for simulation of the single-instruction computer. The architecture is based on conditional MOVE (CMOVE) instruction and is here briefly described. The simulation program for this architecture was written, taking into account the pipelined realization. A simple translator was written, enabling some sort of symbolic programming of CMOVE computer. The structure and conception of the symulation system is presented here. Some CMOVE program examples are given, and the applycability of CMOVE architecture computer is discussed.
