Dark achromatic hues specificum in fashion design
The term of achromatic is referred to a very narrow area in the colour space, close to a vertical co – ordinate of lightness with a*/b* co-ordinates set also close to centre. In theory, in such setting the human eye should be able to perceive purely achromatic black, grey and white. The parameters of hue and chroma have no significant influence and cannot be perceived and distinguish in this particular area. The lightness parameter would be the most responsible parameter for visual perception in achromatic area that enables the observer to distinguish the blacks from whites and grey. In real conditions, the ideally achromatic surface cannot be achieved. In this paper, some problems in process of designing with dark achromatic hues, where requests on colour matching are very high, were discussed.
