Traditionally, the Conference is interdisciplinary as reflected in the range of topics: Special Session: Academic and Business Collaboration: Innovative BI ; Networking, Grids, Middleware and Distributed Platforms ; Business Intelligence, Information Systems and Databases ; Knowledge Management and Collaboration Systems ; Human Computer Interaction ; Technology Enhanced Education ; Information Technology in Business and Government ; Data Mining, and Biometrics ; Modeling, Simulation and Optimization ; Language Technologies ; and Theory of Computing, Computing Methodologies and Software Engineering. This year we received 113 papers and poster abstracts written by 186 authors. Of these 186 authors, 124 have come from 27 countries: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, R. Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, USA, and 62 of them are from Croatia. Besides the organizer, University Computing Centre (Srce), nine international and six Croatian institutions/associations are supporting the Conference. All submitted papers were reviewed by at least two independent referees. Included in the reviewing process were 108 international referees (31 from Croatia and 77 from abroad), who wrote a total of 216 reviews. The Proceedings contain 83 accepted papers: 22 from Croatia, and 61 from abroad.
