Dragon characters in the roles of the White clown Damir Miloš, Never believe a dragon ; when it opens its mouth, either fire or a lie emerges, Zvjezdana Odobašić and Gesak Ante Zaninović.

The authors explores three works which differ in their genres, and explains in detail which works and writers are at the core. She cites and uses an argumentative approach toward the dragon characters, and in what way the given genres reflect these characters (which is the role of the dragon in the work of Odobašić, and which that of the dragon in Zaninović, for example-the dragons in A. Zaninović have a small role in the entire story, whereas in the story of Z. Odobašić they carry the entire story, whilst in the work of D. Miloš there exists an interfacing world of dreams and reality through the dragon). It emphasises the humour of D. Miloš and A. Zaninović, where they manifest and how they differ in their dragon characters. Zaninović has a whole hierrarchy of characters and family tree, and a special stand towards language and the seneses. The same exists with Miloš, who by using language, defeats the dragon. Hence, the question of the power of language is given in both works as is also present in the work of Z.Odobašić. The characterof the dragon in researched works have a strong psychological impression on future readers.
