Stability Prediction of a Small Biogas Plant in Electric Power System
The aim of this paper is to test and predict stability of a small biogas plant in electric power system for longer time period. In the beginning short description of biogas plant with two 1 MW generators is given. Furthermore, generator and regulator modeling as well as surrounding electrical grid modeling in software package Power World Simulator are shortly described. Expected consumption growth trough period of 20 years in power plant supply area is simulated. All generator important variables, i.e. voltage, frequency, current, power and load angle in case of infinite bus outage are examined and explained. Finally, stability prediction analysis of biogas plant and surrounding consumers is given.
