Using system archetypes in education

System archetypes are typical system dynamics structures that emerge in social systems and create similar system behaviour. Objective of system dynamics archetypes is to increase understanding of the consequences of decisions in different system, and to identify the parts of the system that has the strongest influence to system behaviour. The main advantage of using system archetypes is the understanding of the system behaviours after specific decision making. Goal of the paper is to discuss impact of usage of system dynamics archetypes to quality of teaching and learning, using experiential approach. Our practical experience reveals improved satisfaction with teaching and improved learning, thus indicating positive impact of using system dynamics archetypes to teaching and learning quality.
