Optimal Selection of Coaxial Rings Systems in Environmental Electrostatic Shielding

A new numerical procedure for optimization of the coaxial ring conductor’s system for electrostatic shielding is developed in the paper. The optimization of functional, consisting of electrostatic energy density and system of equations that is derived from the equipotential character of conductor’s system, is used. By minimizing this functional, the system of nonlinear equations is obtained and then numerically solved. The energy density is defined in the points along the axis of the system. A few numerical examples are given.
