Analysis of Croatian Poison Control Centre consultations involving poisonings in preschool children (2007–2016) as a basis for poisoning prevention action

Education of parents of preschool children should focus on cleaning agents, cosmetics, non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, and other analgesics. Additional attention should be given to psychoactive drugs and corrosive household chemicals as possible causes for severe health consequences.
