Analysis of Circular-Cylindrical Array of Waveguide Elements Using Moment Method
The purpose of the paper is to present a program that analyzes arrays of rectangular waveguide openings placed at the circular-cylindrical ground plane. The array can be covered by a radome made of a multilayer substrate. The program calculates radiation pattern of the antenna, input admittance and mutual coupling of the elements of the array. The antenna structure is rigorously taken into account by using proper Green's functions, and the array is fully analyzed by means of element-by element approach. The integral equation is numerically solved using spectral domain moment method. The developed program has been verified against measurements and the calculated result obtained by the UTD-MoM approach. The agreement between measurements and calculations is very good.
