Some possible examples of presentation of archaeological finds recovered from rescue underwater excavations in Croatia
Article analyzes possible ways of approach to the presentation of archeological finds recovered from the underwater archaeological excavations in Croatia at the sites of Grotica and Martinšćica on the island of Cres, Foša in Zadar and Matejuška in Split. Rescue underwater investigations uncovered mainly Modern Era finds on these sites. Given the fact that these finds were not considered to be of interest to archaeology until recently, and that it is still difficult to find them in musem display cases, the basic idea is that these finds should be presented in local communities after the research and conservation.
