Review of more as sixteen routes of TNAZ synthesis is presented. The total yields of the most technological attractive from them do not exceed 30 % of theory. It is stated, that TNAZ is high energetic material more powerful as RDX, which may be less vulnerable as most other nitramines and which is able for application as castable explosive as well as plasticizer. However, a relatively high vapour pressure, volume contraction and formation of shrinkage cavities in the solidification of its melt can be a minor disadvantage of TNAZ.
