Pulse and differential pulse polarograms of reversible redox reaction complicated by the reactant adsorption
Pulse and differential pulse polarograms of redox reactions complicated by the reactant adsorption with and without lateral attractions in the monolayer are analysed theoretically by using a stationary spherical diffusion model. The continuous shift of a peak potential of the post-peak towards lesser values and the decreasing of its half-peak width with the increasing of the reactant bulk concentration is the indication of attractions between the adsorbed ions, or molecules.
