SUSTAINABLE SYSTEM IN IMPROVING A SMALL RISE DWELLING&#8217 ; ; S CLIMATE IN CROATIA
The aim of this project is to investigate possibilities for utilisation of solar systems combined with a heat pump for domestic water purposes and heating in the average family house in Croatia. A technical analysis is supported by the simulation of the one solar system over the heating season and the summer months distinguishing between the two characteristic climate zones in Croatia. Heating and cooling load are calculated as well. Economical feasibility of the system is considered striving at the same time to chose such components which would yield a shortest payback period. Some general overview of the recent situation on the solar market and description of the most common solar system and its components is given as well. In addition environmental aspects of the final solution as well as its sustainability are discussed.
