Improving productivity with high speed machining
High speed machining significantly improves speeds of main and feedrate motions, significantly reduces machining time while, at the same time preserves the quality of the machined surface. Machining accuracy is also improved. The cutting forces are reduced what enables the reduction of clamping forces and reduction of machining power. That results in reduction of masses of moving parts of machine tools what enables construction of highdynamic machine tools. The thinwall workpieces could be easier machined, same as workpieces made of hard and tempered materials. The number of machining operations is reduced, the grinding could become unnecessary and coolant does not have to be applied in finish machining.
