Mathematical modelling cutting forces by the second order response surface
One of the basic index of machinability, optimization criterion and supervision of metal cutting process are cutting forces. Because of that it is necessary to define exact and reliable enough mathematical models with whom can be described the dependence between the cutting forces and admission parameters of metal cutting process. There are few types receiving of mathematical models, but the basic question is how that model adequately describes a real condition of process. This paper treats the problem of identification, mathematical-experimental modeling, cutting forces in dependence of cutting data for longitudinal turning. In this investigation is applied the method of second order response surface, particularly central composite plan of second order experiment, and the experimental results were estimated by regression analysis.
