Critical review on workplace analysis
Numerous international standards in workplace analysis in a different levels use as a fundamental approach the anthropometrical values of workers in the interaction with its working environment. These anthropometrical values, according to many references, are usually so-called statically anthropomeasures. Even, these measures are mostly done in two forms in sagital and frontal posture of a man. From the point of physiological anthropometry mentioned anthropomeasures do not fulfills design requests. For example, in workplace analysis, the very important question is the pressure between man and its enviroment. Such a kind of the contact surfaces and related pressures does not exist in the literature as a form of anthropomeasures. for solving the problem, in our opinion, firstly it is necessary to change planar forms of the subject into three-dimensional form, and according to the working posture to analyze pressure question in the contact areas. Here, under pressure analysis we mean to overview physiological properties of interaction between skeleton, soft tissue, garments and supporting base. In this work is given an example of the pressure differences in contact area of two subjects with the identical height and body mass, which can be equalized only by mean of constitutional indexes.
