The method of straight numerical solution of Hertz's contact formulae

In this paper is shown a simple solution of practical stress and strain analysis of two contact bodies by means of straight numerical calculation of Hertz's contact formulae. All the necessary data were calculated directly, so that no auxiliary tables or diagrams need to be used. The diagrams that we previously know from the literature can also be easily drawn in order to present graphicaly the changes of the values and the interdepence of a single calculation variables. The method is proved to be suitable both for the practical and theoretical problem analysis what is illustrated by examples.
