Machined Surface Quality by High Speed Milling

Milled surface quality has important role in functionality and exploatability of machine parts. Wear resistance, rigidity of the butt joint, corrosion resistance and strength of the machine parts are dependant on geometrical and physical-chemical properties of machined surface . In chip removal forming processes, properties of the machined surface are changeable during cutting, because of tool wear, so the cutting process have to be stopped before the quality of machined surface enter the acceptable ranges. By high speed cutting tool wear is faster, but with proper tool material selection and with proper cutting condition adjustment, it is possible to reach optimal size of productiveness with minimal tool wear.
