The calibration of the heat conductivity coefficient in mathematical model of steel quenching

The heat conductivity coefficent of steel has been estimated by calibration of dependency curves of heat conductivity coefficient on temperature. This coefficient values are usable for large spectra of steel. The calibration of stel heat conductivity coefficient has been estimated by using of Crafts-Lamont diagrams for steel bars quenched in ideal quenchant with Grossmann's value of cooling H. Numerical simulation of steel quenching, with application the calibrated heat transfer data, is a generalized way of simulation and largely applicable in design offices.
