This technical note describes a theoretical analysis aimed at an extension of the present version (version 5.2) of the COPPEF code to calculate compressible flows bounded by a converging nozzle. This corresponds to subtask 7 of task 1 of the workpackage 2 (S7-T1-WP2) in the workprogramme "Improvement and Updates of the COPPEF Code - Part 2".
