Control Approaches for Hydraulic Servosystem
Two masses driven by servohydraulic actuator is a nonlinear and a time-variable system, therefore it is very demanding for control. The paper compares several control approaches application. Considered controllers are PID, inverse dynamics controller, sliding modes controller and controller based on disturbance observation and compensation. As it is expected, the simplest linear controller, i.e. PID, gives the worst results. Sliding modes controller gives the best results. However, the price is paid in the very high control activity and such controller requires more measurement. The results are obtained by mathematical model simulation.
