The Scope of Physiological Anthropology and Future Prospects
Such a task, as the discussion about the division of any scientific field, is in our opinion a very ungrateful job. Why is it so? This is surely because, we are more or less accustomed to divisions that have been done before. We did it from our point of view, how we see our position in this science. We are working in the field of an applied mechanics, which is branch of general mechanics, and it is not part of physics at all. Particularly, we do work in applying mechanics to the living systems and humans, that are biomechanics and ergonomic. Through these two subdivided forms of mechanics we are involved in anthropology. Now, the question is, to which branch of anthropology. In our opinion, it should be this branch which is involved with physiology, or physiological anthropometry.
