The Contribution to the Analisys of Logistic System Design Model

In today’s market conditions the successfulness of companies depends on adequate entire logistic chain design. The integrated logistics function, based on many analytical models, is viewed as a solution of that problem. Since the definition of entire logistic chain theoretic model is still in developing, one of the logic solutions is application of sub-system models. This is the case with warehouses, which are generally a part of all logistic chains as a logistic sub-system. In this paper some warehouse layout design models are discussed, with emphasis on holistic approach to the problem.
