Amalgamation of Heterogeneous Data Sources Using Amalgamated Annotated HiLog

In this article we use logic-based language HiLog to integrate heterogeneous data sources. HiLog is Prolog type logic-based language with higher order syntax and first order semantic. To make HiLog more appropriate for process uncertain data, we introduce a syntax extension of HiLog - annotations. Annotations are well-known concept for implementing multi-valued logics. At the end, we introduce concept of amalgamations, which make HiLog appropriate for processing data from independent sources, and show that amalgamated annotated HiLog has intended semantic.
