Contribution of ISO 900O Standards to the World Quality Movement

To what extent have ISO 9000 standards contributed to the world quality movement? What does this contribution mainly consist of? Are ISO 9000 standards about to break down? The answers to these and other questions regarding ISO 9000 standards are constantly in conflict. The attitude of this paper towards the standards is mainly a positive one. Probably also due to the fact that the environment in which the author lives requires that ISO 9000 be considered positively. This is because ISO 9000 is a necessary prerequisite (but far from a sufficient one) for winning and battles on the market.
