Numerical method applied on the detection defects under material surface

The aim of the study is application of the numerical method and IR thermography for defect detection. The surface temperature distribution is governed with defects, their shape and size. Numerical simulation of unstady heat conduction gives the qualitative response of the defects and is very important for thermal nondestructive testing methods.
