Optimization of the cutting speed at milling

Milling process is influenced by a lot of parameters. Main parameters are workpiece material, cutting tool material, cutting geometry and cutting conditions. Cutting tool geometry has very important role in cutting process, specially wedge angle . Results of testing of influence of form milling cutter wedge angle , on cutting force at upcut milling and downcut milling alloyed steel 24CrMoV55. Optimal cutting speed for testing condition has been determined.
