Personal Identity and Thought-Experiments in Parfit

This dissertation looks at the philosophical issue of personal identity. Arguments utilising thought-experiments feature heavily in the literature on this. My aim is to uncover some difficulties in using thought- experiments to prove that one concept of persons is more efficacious than another.
