Ontology-based approach in education of programming
Many problems that occur in education of programming have resulted in many different approaches and methods used to help teachers and aid students in their programming courses. However, even though many attempts to address problems which are experienced in programming courses have been made, many problems have proved to be persistent and of reoccurring nature. This kind of state frequently results in unexpectedly low passing rates in various programming courses. In this paper an approach towards teaching programming that includes usage of ontology to help both teachers and students to achieve better results in their programming courses is presented and elaborated.
