Oral findings in incontinentia pigmenti Bloch Sulzberger:a case report O Lulic-Dukic, H Juric, W Dukic School of Dental Medicine Zagreb, Croatia Dept of Pedodontics, Zagreb, Croatia The case represents a two-year-old girl, first born from a healthy mother diagnosis of Incontinentia pigmenti Bloch Sulzberger. Biopsy confirmed genetic disorder characterized by vesiculae and papullae seizing gluteal region, legs, hands and torzo. Oral findings revealed dentitio tarda, partial anodontia, distopic eruption and pointy-shaped primary teeth. Pedodontic treatment consisted of preventive and conserative therapy including fissure sealing, topical fluoridation and sanation of caries lesions. Frequent monthly check-ups were needed.Final result of pedodontic treatment was caries free oral status of the patient.In the age of five ortopantomogram shows partial anodontia of permanent teeth. Multidisciplinary approach icludes prosthetic and orthodontic therapy, enabling optimal growth and development of orofacial system.
