Urban geochemistry and environmental risk assessment of selected elements in the Sisak region, Croatia

A geochemical investigation of the urban area of the city of Sisak and its surroundings was carried out to determine the concentration and spatial distribution of the potentially toxic elements (PTEs) As, Ba, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Hg, Mo, Ni, Pb, Tl, V and Zn in the soil and to assess the risk for the environment and human health.
