Ammonium Ion Bearing Hyalophane Feldspar, Busovača, Central Bosnia; Metamorphogenic Origin Constrained by CO2-Inclusion Study
Alpine-type quartz-hyalophae veins cut Lower Palaeozoic metasediments. Electron microprobe analyses determined 0.12% nitrogen in hyalophane and IR confirmed presence of ammonium ion. Fluid inclusion study of quartz gave: TFMCO2 60 to 37 C; TLMCO2 58 to 56.5 C; TLMIce -11.7 to -4 C; TLMCLATHRATE +2.5 to +6.2 C; THCO2 +14.6 to +29.2 C; ThTOT +300 to 322 C; salinity 6.6 to 13.5 wt% NaClequ.; FLS contain 0.55 to 8.80% , density 0.98 g/cm3, TMTOT 313 C, pressure 2.25 kbars. Fluids are of typical metamorphogenic origin.
