Influence of organic and complex mineral fertilizers on the yield of head chicory (Cichorium intybus var. foliosum L.) and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium accumulation in plants

Influence of different fertilizer forms and rates on nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium contents, nitrate accumulation and yield in head chicory was investigated. The trial involved: stable manure (5 kg/m2), complex mineral fertilizers NPK 5-20-30 (50, 100 and 150 g/m2) and an unfertilized check. There were no significant differences in yield between variants fertlized with 100 and 150 g of mineral fertilizer. There were no significant differences in yield in the application of stable manure and the lowest mineral fertilizer rate.
