Influence of processing parameters on mechanical properties of polyamide 6 castings, PPS-18, polymer processing society

The paper considers the influence of mould wall temperature on the polymerisation and crystallisation process flow, as well as the polyamide 6 casting quality. According to the rotation central composite design the annealing time of the casting has been selected as the second factor. The mould quality has been studied by tensile testing. The significance of both factors for the casting quality has been determined.
