Analyses of Thin Plate Bending by Fup Fragment Collocation Method
Numerical model for analyses of thin plate bending which uses the collocation method and special basis functions Fupn(x, y) is presented. The whole considered area is analysed at once, as one fragment. Because of infinite derivability of basis functions, derivatives of all orders, required by differential equation of the problem and boundary conditions, are used directly in numerical procedure. The main solution of the problem and all values derived from the main solution are obtained with the same level of accuracy. Examples demonstrate the precision and quality of this method.
