The infulence of methilpredniisoloneon inflammatory bowel lesions induced with 2, 4-dinitrofluorobenzene in previously sensitized BALB-c mice
The aim of this study was to demonstrate the influence of methylpredniisolone on inflammatory large bowel lesions induced with 2, 4-DNFB in previously sensitized BALB-c mice. As a parameter of corticosteroid anti-inflammatory action we investigated its effect on mononuclear cell accomulation within colonic lamina propria and submucosa during an observed time period. The results of this study indicate that the previously described animal model of IBD coud be suitable for further research of present and new therapeutic modalities for inflammatory bowel disease.
