Parameters suitable for the assessment of the influence of the fish cage culturing on ecosystem

The main purpose of this paper is to assess the influence of cage culturing on ecosystem Mala Lamljana Bay (Croatia). Even the physical presence of cages itself disables the normal water flow, stimulates stratification and sedimentation. It also reduces the quantity and changes stratification of oxygene and nutrients. Therefore we have especially paid attention to the water quality: oxygen content and nutrients. In order ro evaluate the global condition of the bay we have also observed Phytoplankton community: primary production, horizontal and vertical distribution of phytoplankton
