A Co-Rotational Approach And Modal Syntehesis In Design Of Mechanical Systems Undergoing Large Rotations
The paper describes mathematical modelling and design of flexible mechanics systems using coupled co-rotational (Crisfield 1994) and modal approach. The comparison of the given method with the FEM approach considering numerical and computational issues is performed. The time solution procedure is step by step based algorithm. A number of different integration procedures including energy conserving algorithms are considered (Simo and Wong 1991.).
