Frequency Domain Fault Analysis of Low Sensitive BP Active Filter Structures

The paper presents a fault location technique for testing analog filters using a fault dictionary. It is applied to various band-pass active filter structures. Sensitivity analysis and fault analysis are done for each structure and correspondence between the sensitivity and the testability is investigated. As an illustration this procedure are performed for an eight order Chebyshev band-pass filter realised as cascade, follow-the-leader-feedback, cascaded biquarts and leap-frog structure.
