COMPUTING SIMULATION AND HEURISTIC OPTIMIZATION OF SHIP ANCHOR ARRANGMENT
The methodology of System Dynamics (Prof dr. J. Forrester - MIT), e.g. relatively new scientific discipline, in former educational and designer practice showed its efficiency in practice as very suitable means for solving the problems of management, of behaviour, of sensibility, of flexibility and sensibility of behaviour dynamics of different systems and processes. The aim of this paper is to show the efficiency of System Dynamics Simulation Modelling during the study of the dynamics behaviour, one of the complex marine systems and processes i.e. "electrical propulsion system for anchoring the ship". Windlass and propulsion asynchronous engine will be present with mental-verbal, structural and mathematical-computer models, and will simulate working process of ship propulsion complex, asynchronous engine and windlass. The scenario, of the dynamics of the windlass propulsions by asynchronous engine, represent the start of the asynchronous engine under full weight (anchor + 100 m of cable), i.e. asynchronous engine is put to work with the addition of windlass, whose cable is fully dropped in to the sea (TIME=0), and the anchor is on the sea bottom.
