Modernism and Regionalism of the Central Europe Peripheria: Situation in Croatia Compared to the Magior Delevopment Lines of European Art
In the paper we schall discuss the achivment and regional charachteristics of the Croatian painting from the 1920's and 1930' when the Art practice at those peripheral borders of Central Europe has reached dominent tendecies of the modern art. The second important period in Croatian art are the 1950's and 1960's.In this time some artists achived rather original pictoral solutions, reaching the abstract tendecies which have became the new international stle of the period after the Swecond world war.
